HO CHI MINH real name Nguyan Tat Thanh was born on May 19, 1890 and died on September 3, 1969 (79 years). He was a Vietnamese Communist revolutionary leader who was prime minister and president of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. He helped found the Indochinese Communist Party in 1930 and the League for the Independence of Vietnam, in 1941. He is remembered today because he was the principal force the Vietnamese struggle against French rule.
